Hello dear readers,
Hope you all are well. It’s been a year or so reaching you with the latest important questions for the Board examinees of the state. In doing so, we’ve experienced a lot of the needs and requirements of our readers. Recently one of our respected readers enquired off the format for editorial letters. We are always there to assist you as best we can.

As we all know that media is one of the easiest means of communication and it plays a vital role in a democracy, the editors out there have a responsibility towards our society. In fact democracy cannot be successful without free press. In a democratic country like ours a person from any class of the society is free to express his or her opinion, grievance or representation about or against any kind of situation. Here comes the role of an editor of a newspaper. The Editor is communicated by any of the members of the common people about any kind of issue that he or she or his or her community has been suffering from through an “Editorial letter”. He or she allows a column in the editorial to make the issue public. Believe it or not it is a part of the news of the day, if it is worthy enough and once published, it has far reaching consequences by hitting the authorities concerned responsible for the situation no matter how popular the daily is.

Several formats for Editorial letters are practised in recent times. Not all of them are acceptable to everyone. But you can rely upon some of them as well. In most cases, a common style is followed to meet the purpose with ease. It is to keep in mind that these letters are meant to reach the problem or the matter to the editor and not to please him with syntax using bomb busting words. So, the approach should be as lucid as possible. We’ve tried to discuss two of the most commonly practised formats for editorial letters below here.

Not necessarily each and every part of the letter has to be the same as above. But it is expected to follow or maintain a common format. The post is expected to prove beneficial to the examinees as well. So Best of Luck to all our (visitor examinees) visitors who are going to appear in their upcoming examinations from our part too.
